I’m thankful to New Moon Girls Magazine for sending a copy of their inspirational magazine for every Creative GIRL coming to this summer’s playshops! My older daughter is a magazine subscriber (thanks Nana 🙂 ) and treats every magazine like her special private treasure. As I was reading about Creative Girl, I was SO wishing that my 10-year old and I were still living in Chapel Hill (the next best thing is to hire you long distance to help me plan a future Creative Girl kind of birthday party).
Then I thought that your projects are reminiscent of the ones in New Moon Girls Magazine, which I learned about earlier this year through recommendations to parents from the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP), so I was thrilled to see in the next paragraph that that magazine is a part of your program. I bet some of your girls are in that program. Tried subscribing from the New Moon Girl website multiple times (for my daughter and one of her friends), but I kept having problems and I never seem to remember to call to subscribe by phone during business hours. Thanks to Creative Girl, I will make sure that I call on Monday.
I am so excited about everything you’re doing. It gives us left-brainers hope that we don’t have to be intimidated by arts and crafts (at least I have always been), and that we can learn to do more. All we have to do is follow your lead. Thank you!!!
